New dining experiences in La Paz

You know us, we are always looking for a new experience - especially if it involves food and drink. It is amazing the selection of great places here in La Paz. The following examples are a little upscale, but still inexpensive compared to the States.

Friday nights are Prime Rib night at the Club Marlin - this is the view of Bahia La Paz from the patio.

Wiley and Carol (La Paz locals) invited us out to their lovely home in Comitan for happy hour, plus a wonderful dining experience at their new local restaurant - Restaurante Bar El Lenador. The food was great, but the best part was the flaming food and drink - what a sight!

Placeres Argentinos is an Argentina restaurant - lots of great meat cooked on the grill, empanandas, Spanish tortillas, and very interesting salads.

La Bohème is a French restaurant, unfortunately Ana and I just had guacamole and bebidas (drinks). Guess we are going to have to go back for the French cuisine.

We will keep looking for more great places!

We went to La Boheme with Jacob's parents when they were in town--it was delicious and I had salmon (such a nice change from bonito!)

We hope that we will continue seeing you guys at anchorages up to San Carlos!

La Boheme is one of our favorites! The pizzas are great and so is the salmon pasta. Yum. Going for tacos tonight in San Blas. Will see you in a few weeks :)
