Moondance(s)

We purchased our second Moondance in San Diego, California, April, 2017.  She is a 38' Ocean Alexander Trawler built in 1984.  We are still getting used to being on a trawler, but we are enjoying having the extra space and a big bed, plus hanging out on our favorite spot - the sun deck watching life going by!

We found Moondance in the Solomon islands, Maryland, and bought her in 2000.

She only had one owner and was in wonderful shape - but had minimal electronics and missing systems that a cruiser requires: watermaker, generator, wind generator, etc.. And so, our projects began.

We had her hauled across the country to Alameda, California, where are sailing adventures began!
