Bahia San Gabriel

Our next stop - Bahia San Gabriel on Isla Espiritu Santo. A huge bay with a beautiful white beach. It used to have a pearl fishery - wouldn't a pearl be a great find? Oh well!

The red sandstone cliffs on the northern end of the bay are spectacular - especially during sunset. We spent a couple of days exploring. Wish we could have stayed a couple more

We hiked across the island to Playa Bonanza on the East side. We thought it was going to be a short hike, but turned out to be about 5 miles round trip. It was worth it.

Vacation is over - back to La Paz to finish some boat projects - oh boy!

Vacation is really over if you have to scrub barnacles (sp) again!

Love to read your blog. I check it every morning noon and night. The only comment would be to write more as Shanna and I live our dreams of sailing through Moondance.
