And all her flags are a flyin'

In preparation of our South Pacific voyage, we have been purchasing courtesy flags for all of the wonderful countries we hope to visit over the next 10 + years. Aren't they beautiful? They include exotic countries, like...

Australia, Cook Islands, Ecuador, Fiji, France, French Polynesia, Galapagos, Guam, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, New Zealand, Northern Marianas, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Western Samoa, and more...

We are thinking that we should chart our course based on the flags we own. Why not!

Join us if you can...

PS: If you heard cursing, that was me sewing! I had to reinforce the cheap flags so they won't shred to pieces the first time we fly them, but think of the money we saved. Plus, I have been sewing fender covers, sail ties, and more exciting stuff (not)!

Thanks to Fern for helping with my material shopping here in La Paz - that was quite and adventure!

Sewing sucks! I am sure my Mom and my Home Ec teacher are offended by my comment, plus knowing how badly I sew!

Ewww. I hate sewing and would scrub ten toilets instead! Save the flags and at the end of the ten, Mema can make a killer quilt!

I love to sew. I just hate sewing machines.

Ah, come on...just think of the sewing machine as a "generator" - you too can master the machine, like Doug did w/the generator! ha ha I probably would stick to the flags and not any article of clothing at this point! Love, Denise

Ah! But now you are done! Isn't that a great feeling?
